Teledyne Microwave is the industry leader in broadband and narrowband high power amplifiers. The new Ku-Band TCDL SSPA's offer excellent efficency and outstanding performance. Units are available in 5 Watt, 15 Watt & 25 Wattversions.

The TPT and CPT range of amplifiers are temperature compensated to operate over military temperature range requirements. The lower output power amplifiers (less than +27 dBm) are guaranteed for -54°C to +90°C operation. The 1/2 and 1 watt output standard products have guaranteed specifications over 0°C to +55°C. Wider temperature range versions are available on special order. The TPA series amplifier specifications are guaranteed for operation at +25°C
Designed for Reliability
The design considerations for component derating, thermal engineering, manufacturing techniques, and hermetic cases ensure that reliability is designed and manufactured into the product. Specific care is taken in the thermal design of all components, but particularly in the manufacturing of power amplifiers. The company has developed proprietary techniques for mapping thermal profiles of FETs mounted on circuits. This technique provides information on the quality of the die attach on the completed circuit prior to installation in the case. A proper die attach insures heat sinking of the die and contributes to long-term reliability.
